Through completing care qualifications, I progressed to Senior Care Assistant and, more recently, I have also adopted the responsibilities of a Care Practitioner as well. I have also been involved in activities within the home and have lead the Activities Team for many years. I have completed many training courses through the Barchester Healthcare Training Academy, which have further enhanced my skills in a range of areas, including, care, activities and providing training. I now share my time between being a Care Practitioner and the home administrator. I live locally and I enjoy my days off spending quality time with my 9-month-old son and my husband. Caring
The role includes supporting other residents to have a voice within the home. She will meet regularly with the management team and help enhance life at Marriott House and Lodge for all. They will also be involved in the homes community engagement team to help find ways of maintaining and enhancing community involvement. After 20 years of working in children’s residential homes I made the move to adult’s homes and have not looked back. I really enjoy working at Marriot House and Lodge, chatting and singing with residents, and joining creative activities and quizzes.
The nearest Bus Station is City Business Park which is a 10 minute walk from the care provider. The nearest Food Shop is Waitrose which is a 7 minute walk from the care provider. We have therefore encouraged every provider to open their ‘online windows and doors’ to help you make an informed choice.
Nursing care
As well as long-term care, Greenways can also accommodate respite breaks. All of our residents have their own bedroom which they are encouraged to make their own. All rooms come equipped with electric profiling beds and furnishings.
24/7 care is provided by our dedicated team of Care Assistants, overseen by our experienced Management Team....
